A BIO PROBE FOR DETECTING PORCINE REPRODUCTIVE AND RESPIRATORY SYNDROME VIRUS AND METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING PRRSV USING THE SAME

The present invention provides a bio probe for detecting a porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) virus, comprising: (a) nanomaterials; (b) an antibody specifically combined with an antigen of a PRRS virus, which is covalently linked to the surface of the nanomaterials; and (c) a glass fiber which is a solid substrate having a surface modified by the antibody combined nanomaterials. The present invention also provides a method for diagnosing PRRS virus by using the bio probe. According to the present invention, the existence and infection of PRRS virus can be rapidly determined within 10 minutes using a small amount of sample.
