PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission type screen, a rear-projection type display device and a multiscreen display device that are bright, high in contrast, enable a display of an excellent video picture and enable space saving.SOLUTION: A transmissive screen 10 is provided with a prism layer 11 formed by having an almost triangular prismatic unit prism 111 plurally arrayed and a light absorption part 123 formed closer onto a light emergent side than the prism layer, and having an action for absorbing light. The unit prism 111 totally reflects at least a part of light incident from one surface 111a (or 111b) upon the other surface 111b (or 111a) and deflects the part thereof in a normal line direction of a screen surface. In a central area A of the prism layer 11 in an array direction of the unit prism 111, light L1 projected from one side in the array direction and light L2 projected from the other side therein are incident to the identical unit prism 111, are deflected in the almost normal line direction of the screen surface and proceed toward an observer side by being. A rear-projection type display device 1 and a multiscreen display device M1 comprise the transmissive screen 10 described in the above. |
