PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of a bright line which is caused by an edge of an optical sheet of a backlight in a periphery of a screen when the screen is obliquely viewed.SOLUTION: A backlight is disposed on a back surface of a liquid crystal display panel; and a light guide plate 20, a lower diffusion sheet 30 and a lower prism sheet 40 are housed in a mold 10. An upper prism sheet 50 extends on an upper surface of the mold 10 and is adhered to the liquid crystal display panel and to the mold 10 with an adhesive material 80. Since an end of the upper prism sheet 50, which is the uppermost optical sheet, is invisible even when a screen is viewed obliquely, generation of a bright line caused by an edge of the optical sheet can be prevented. Since a contact area between the mold 10 and the liquid crystal display panel can be increased, a phenomenon of peeling between the mold and the liquid crystal display panel due to an impact can be prevented. |
