PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide backup and restore techniques in which backup data is maintained even when input/output for a storage device is being performed.SOLUTION: An information processing device that is connected with a storage device that stores information includes: a creation unit that creates a snapshot of a file system which manages first information stored in the storage device, and that outputs it to the storage device; a writing unit that after the creation of the snapshot, writes second information which is stored in a cache memory, to the storage device; and a copy instruction unit that provides an instruction to the storage device to create copies of the first information, which is held by the storage device after the second information has been written, and the snapshot. |
