PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleansing liquid composition for a contaminated soil capable, by targeting a soil contaminated by heavy metals, of efficiently removing the heavy metals within the soil and a soil cleansing method capable, by targeting a soil contaminated by heavy metals, of efficiently removing the heavy metals within the soil based on a simple method and entailing a tenuous environmental load.SOLUTION: The provided cleansing liquid composition for a heavy metal-contaminated soil includes a chelator forming chelate with metals, has a pH confined to a range of 11.5-14.0, and is used for purging heavy metals included within the soil contaminated by heavy metals; a method for cleansing the contaminated soil in which the cleansing liquid composition is contacted with the soil is also provided. |
