PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alginic acid-containing beverage which is strong in release of aroma of flavoring agents at the time of drinking, excellent in persistence of aroma, and excellent in flavor.SOLUTION: A beverage composition contains following components (A) and (B) and has a pH of 4.5 or more: (A) 1-4 mass% alginic acid having a weight-average molecular weight of 150,000-420,000 or its salt, calculated as alginic acid; and (B) flavoring agents. |
