PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition capable of realizing excellent terminal workability compared to conventional ones and applicable as a coating material used for a wire and a cable, and to provide the wire and the cable using the same.SOLUTION: A resin composition contains an ethylene-propylene copolymer of 50 pts.mass to 70 pts.mass, an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer other than the ethylene-propylene copolymer of 30 pts.mass to 50 pts.mass and metal oxide of 50 pts.mass to 200 pts.mass, and total of the ethylene-propylene copolymer and the ethylene-α-olefin copolymer is 100 pts.mass.
