<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote water drainage to the outside of a water tub during a dewatering operation.SOLUTION: The washing machine includes: a water tub 1 having a concave drain part 15 at a bottom; a rotary tub 4 rotatably provided in the water tub 1; a motor 10 for rotationally driving the rotary tub 4; and control means 40 for controlling washing operation. In the drain part 15, a drain port 15a for draining washing water in the water tub 1 to the outside of the machine, and a convex guide 28 positioned in the front side furthermore than the drain port 15a. The guide 28 is provided in a nearer side in a dewatering rotation direction of the rotary tub 4 at the drain port 15a than an end part 15b of an advancing side in the dewatering rotation direction, and is formed so as to incline to the advancing side in the dewatering rotation direction from the front side to the back side. Thus, in a dewatering process, water droplets moving on a wall surface of the water tub 1 by an air flow generated by a rotation of the rotary tub 4 can be guided to the drain part 15 by utilizing the power of the air flow.</p> |
