<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a P2MP discovery method for minimizing burst-like increase of up-link delay time and a jitter in a PON (Passive Optical Network) allowing connection of an ONU (Optical Network Unit) having wide distance difference of 0 to 100 km or the like, and to provide an OLT (Optical Line Terminal) and the ONU for realizing the P2MP discovery method.SOLUTION: An OLT transmits a Discovery GATE according to a standard to an ONU. The ONU transmits a REGISTER_REQ at outputting time calculated according to self-connection distance. The OLT receives all REGISTER_REQs during a Discovery Window of time of conventional degree or shorter than the conventional degree. Thereby, burst-like increase of delay time and a jitter can be minimized.</p> |
