<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generator which can be made compact by reducing the component and wiring of a voltage generation circuit.SOLUTION: An ion generator includes an ion generation element 2a consisting of a discharge electrode 6a and a dielectric electrode 7a, an ion generation element 2b consisting of a discharge electrode 6b and a dielectric electrode 7b, a voltage generation circuit 3 generating a voltage vibrating positive and negative, and a first diode 4 and a second diode 5 for rectifying the output from the voltage generation circuit 3. First terminal 13 of the voltage generation circuit 3 is branched and connected with the cathode of the first diode 4 and the anode of the second diode 5. Anode of the first diode 4 is connected with the discharge electrode 6a and the dielectric electrode 7b, and cathode of the second diode 5 is connected with the dielectric electrode 7a and the discharge electrode 6b.</p> |
