<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an identification code unique to each device.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises: a bus including a plurality of signal lines; and a transmission device and a plurality of reception devices, which are connected in common to the bus. The transmission device outputs identification code generation data and communication data to the bus at different timings. Each of the reception devices generates different identification codes according to patterns of the identification code generation data that is received from a plurality of terminals connected to the bus; and stores the generated identification code. Connection relation between the plurality of terminals and the plurality of signal lines differs between the reception devices. Each of the reception devices performs reception processing in a manner that does not cause a difference in the connection relation to affect reception data, by referring to the stored identification code.</p> |
