PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent release of ground bait or the like by retaining it until reaching an aimed fishing depth, after reaching the aimed fishing depth, surely release the ground bait or the like, simplify the structure, prevent trouble and damage, inhibit increase in the cost and eliminate harmful effect on catch.SOLUTION: A cage body 2 for ground bait is vertically separable. The cage body includes: a separation retaining material 7 provided between an upper body 3 and a lower body 4 after the separation; connection mechanisms 12, at mutual separation parts of the upper body 3 and the lower body 4, which are joined by relative rotation between the upper/lower bodies 3 and 4 and separated by inverse rotation to that when being joined; and straightening members 31-33, on the outer surfaces of the upper/lower bodies 3 and 4, which cause the upper/lower bodies 3 and 4 to generate rotation force in the joining direction by fluid resistance received when flying, where the lower body 4 takes a lead, and/or when submerging in water, and cause the upper/lower bodies to generate rotation force in the separation direction by water resistance received when floating in water, where the upper body 3 takes a lead. |
