The present invention relates to a flat panel type image display device which has a clear borderless design in order not to form a case which is the appearance of an image display device, and a method for assembling the same. The present invention includes an image display panel which displays an image; a panel guide which has a double combination structure where a panel fixing part is attached to the image display panel and a guide frame has side protrusion parts, and the image display panel and the panel fixing part can move in the direction of one axis among x, y, and z axis; a bottom case which covers the opened backside of the panel guide including the back side of the image display panel and is fixed to the inner side of the panel guide; and a back side cover which covers the backside and the lateral side of a back light unit including the lateral side of an liquid crystal panel by receiving the lateral side and the back side of the back light unit and the liquid crystal panel. |
