Disclosed in the present invention is a rapid cooling apparatus for a heat-treating a steel plate and, more specifically, to a rapid cooling apparatus for a heat-treating a steel plate capable of minimizing the deformation of a material and cooling the material. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the rapid cooling apparatus for heat-treating a steel plate includes: a cooling process unit arranged along a vertical transfer passage of a steel plate while penetrating, to store cooling water in an internal accommodation space; a water-tight member prepared on a location for transferring the steel plate after penetrating the cooling process unit, to prevent the cooling water stored in the accommodation space from leaking while not intervening the transfer of the steel plate; and a cooling water flowing means for flowing the cooling water stored in the accommodation space.
