PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter for saving the weight of a cutter unit while retaining a strength against an impact.SOLUTION: A bush cutter is constituted to comprise: a support lever formed into a rod shape having a front end portion and a rear end portion; a cutter unit having a cutting rotary blade and a motor and arranged at the front end portion of the support lever; a controller unit having a control circuit for controlling the rotary blade and the motor and arranged at the rear end portion of the support lever; and a handle arranged at the support lever for being gripped for use by an operator. The cutter unit includes a housing accommodating the motor therein and holding a rotary blade outside of the lower face for connecting the support lever to the rear upper portion. The housing is formed of a fiber-reinforced resin, in which a plurality of filamentous ribs protruding inward from the tabular wall surface intersect each other. |
