<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canister-type vacuum cleaner having a more compact body.SOLUTION: A canister-type vacuum cleaner includes a body, a hose and a joint for attaching the hose to the body. The joint includes a first component attached to the body, and a second component attached to the hose. Each of the components has a pipe for carrying fluid from the hose to the body. The second component can be attached to the first component by sliding the second component to the first component along a sliding axis. When attaching the second component to the first component, two pipes are sealed on each other at a sealing surface non-orthogonal to the sliding axis.</p> |
