<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information terminal that is improved in operability in operating a choice object on a screen.SOLUTION: A portable information terminal includes: object display means of displaying a choice object 3 on a touch panel 11; hovering state detection means of detecting a finger in a hovering state over the touch panel 11 on the basis of a sensor output of the touch panel 11; virtual operation line generation means of generating a virtual operation line 4 extending outward from the tip of the finger on the basis of the position of the tip of the finger in the hovering state and the direction of the finger; object selection means of selecting the choice object 3 as an execution object 5 on the basis of the position of the virtual operation line 4 on the touch panel 11; and focus means of displaying the execution object 5 in a focus state.</p> |
