PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform retrieval processing to character strings included in a rectangular area on a business form arbitrarily selected by a user, when a PDF file is registered in an electronic business form system as the business form.SOLUTION: The information processing device is configured to: generate a file for retrieval including character information extracted from a PDF file; register an acquired PDF file and the generated file for retrieval in association with each other as one business form file, in a database; transmit business form image data generated by using the PDF file associated with the business form file in response to a browsing request with respect to the registered business form file; receive rectangle information capable of identifying the arbitrary rectangular area selected by a user on the business form image and a retrieval condition which is input by the user; identify a row to be retrieved including character strings arranged in the rectangular area by using the received rectangle information and character information included in the file for retrieval; and perform retrieval processing to the identified row by using the received retrieval condition.
