PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide continuous and semi-continuous emulsion aggregation processes for the production of toner particles.SOLUTION: A process for the production of toner particles by emulsion aggregation comprises continuously or semi-continuously feeding latex materials into a reactor system. The reactor system comprises: at least one reactor for facilitating an aggregation process; and at least one reactor for facilitating temperature ramp-up and coalescence processes. The latex materials include at least one latex resin, an optional pigment, a wax, an optional shell latex resin, an optional flocculant or a combination thereof. |
