PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user of a system for sharing information via a screen including the images of paper tags with information written thereon, who is not allowed to directly access the paper tags to update the information represented by the paper tags.SOLUTION: An information processing device connected to a projector comprises: means for acquiring information included in the predetermined area of an image projected by the projector; control means for controlling display in the area projected by the projector; determination means which acquires information represented at a position where the area is projected by the projector and determines whether the acquired information is equal to the information included in the area; and means for receiving an update relating to the information included in the area. If the information represented at the position where the area is projected is equal to the information included in the area and the received update is an addition of information, the control means controls the projector to project only the information added to the area.
