PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery maximum capacity measuring apparatus capable of measuring the maximum capacity of a secondary battery under an environment of using the secondary battery in which output current does not become zero A.SOLUTION: A secondary battery maximum capacity measuring apparatus for measuring the maximum capacity of a secondary battery in use, includes: current dependency processing means that converts an inter-terminal voltage and an open circuit voltage of the secondary battery into a value independent on load current, based on a relative value change amount of voltage in a period in which time-invariant constant current is extracted from the secondary battery; and error calculation means calculating an error of the inter-terminal voltage and the open circuit voltage of the secondary battery converted by the current dependency processing means.
