<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handheld engine working machine which can introduce cooling air from a cooling fan to the vicinity of roots of heat radiation fins by making the air wrap around a side opposite to a side of the cooling fan of a cylinder, and can improve the cooling efficiency of the cylinder.SOLUTION: The handheld engine working machine 1 using an engine 3 as a drive source comprises: a cooling fan 6 arranged at one end side of a crank shaft 4 of the engine 3, sends cooling air 8 to the circumference of a cylinder 5 having heat radiation fins 5d of the engine 3; a muffler 7 attached to the cylinder 5; a baffle plate 9 arranged between the cylinder 5 and the muffler 7, and guiding the cooling air 8 from the cooling fan 6 to a direction which is parallel to the crank shaft 4; and a folded part 20 which is arranged at a side opposite to a side at which the cooling fan 6 is arranged with the cylinder 5 interposed therebetween, and folded to the cylinder 5 side so as to guide a flow of the cooling air 8 toward the root side of the heat radiation fins 5d.</p> |
