PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ruler device that facilitates preparation for drawing a point symmetrical pattern, in which the position of a pattern mold is not changed and an attitude is not changed, and thereby a correct pattern can be drawn efficiently.SOLUTION: A square base frame 3 is placed on paper 21 to draw a pattern. Frame marks 7 are previously added in point symmetry on the base frame 3. A center point 9 is obtained as intersection points of the line connecting these multiple frame marks 7 in the direction of point symmetry. A positioning ruler 5 has enough length stepping over the base frame 3 through this center point 9. A window 11 is opened in the positioning ruler 5, and can be fitted with a pattern mold 13 punching a shape of a pattern element 27. Also, a transparent area or a slit 29 that can confirm the center point 9 is provided on the positioning ruler 5. A first ruler mark is spotted on this transparent area or the slit 29 or in the vicinity thereof, and is made to agree with the center point 9. A second ruler mark 19 is provided in the vicinity of the tip of the positioning ruler 5, and is aligned with the frame marks 7. |
