PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pouch opening device and a liquid filling method that can always widen an opening part from the filling initiation to the filling termination.SOLUTION: A pouch opening device includes a first opening guide 11 and a second opening guide 12 that are formed hanging down toward a pouch P, respectively, in a pair of arm parts 9, 10 having rack gears 9a, 10a disposed in parallel across a pinion gear 7 and engaged to the pinion gear 7. The first opening guide and the second opening guide are disposed so that mutual contact and separation center is always positioned on a nozzle axis 2a of a filling nozzle 2, can be contacted and separated by turning the pinion gear 7 using a switching means 8, are further formed to follow the transfer of the pouch P at least from insertion to extraction of the filling nozzle 2 to/from the inside of the pouch P, and are positioned in the inside of the pouch P from the opening part A of the pouch P to widen the opening part A of the pouch P. |
