PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: a normal operation of an elevator is sometimes hindered when oscillation of a tail cord is increased.SOLUTION: When oscillation of a tail cord 3 is detected by an oscillation detection part 7, a control section 13a switches an operation to a controlled operation. A passenger is evacuated by rapidly moving a cage to the nearest floor by the controlled operation. Subsequently, the control section 13a moves the cage 2 to the lowermost floor, makes a curved part 3a of the tail cord 3 stored in a duct 5 installed in a pit floor 15, and suppresses the oscillation of the tail cord 3. |
