PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excitation rush current suppression system capable of suppressing an excitation rush current generated when a transformer is powered-on in such a system configuration that the transformer is powered-on by two circuit breakers.SOLUTION: In an excitation rush current suppression system according to one embodiment, when detecting that a transformer connected with a first power supply via a first circuit breaker and connected with a second power supply via a second circuit breaker is shut-off, an attention phase of the first circuit breaker is powered-on so as to suppress an excitation rush current on the basis of a calculated residual magnetic flux and a voltage of the first power supply, and thereafter, remaining two phases are powered-on, and an attention phase of the second circuit breaker is powered-on so as to suppress the excitation rush current on the basis of the calculated residual magnetic flux and a voltage of the second power supply, and thereafter, remaining two phases are powered-on. |
