SCREW, PLASTICIZATION APPARATUS, INJECTION MOLDING APPARATUS AND PLASTICIZATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw capable of reducing maximally the shear stress applied from a resin to a reinforcing fiber and a plasticization apparatus and an injection molding apparatus using the screw.SOLUTION: A screw includes a carrying part 11 carrying a reinforcing fiber F and a resin pellet P, supplied separately, and a melting/kneading part 15 melting the carried resin pellet P and forming a kneaded product of the molten pellet P and the reinforcing fiber F. The carrying part 11 has a first groove 19 through which the reinforcing fiber F is carried and a second groove 21 arranged in parallel with the first groove 19, formed in the outer periphery. The melting/kneading part 15 has a third groove 23 connected to the first groove 19 and expanding forward in cross section of the groove and a fourth groove 24 connected to the second groove 21 and reducing forward in cross section of the groove, formed in the outer periphery. The screw having the configuration prevents the reinforcing fiber F from being applied with a shear stress and thereby avoids the possibility of breaking.
