<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can continuously reproduce slow motion moving image data and still image data without discomfort.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a storage section which sequentially stores a plurality of frame images depending on an imaging signal form an imaging element at a first frame rate; a still image data generation section which generates at least one piece of still image data from at least one frame image among the plurality of frame images stored in the storage section; a period selection section for selecting a period of prescribed length, which includes imaging time when at least one frame image is imaged; a moving image data generation section for generating slow motion moving image data reproduced at a second frame rate smaller than the first frame rate in response to the plurality of frame images stored in the storage section in the period selected by the period selection section; and a recording control section for associatively recording the slow motion moving image data and the still image data in a recording medium.</p> |
