<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus which can adjust the amount of developer conveyed at a low cost, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A developing apparatus conveys developer carried on an outer peripheral surface of a developing sleeve toward a photoreceptor drum, by rotating the developing sleeve of a developing roller formed by inserting a magnet roller into the developing sleeve. A regulation member arranged at a distance Db closest from the outer peripheral surface of the developing sleeve regulates the amount of developer to be conveyed toward the photoreceptor drum. In a cross section orthogonal to a rotation axis of the developing sleeve, an average of an absolute value of magnetic flux density, in a range spaced apart by 2 mm upstream in a rotation direction of the developing sleeve from the position closest from the regulation member, on the outer peripheral surface of the developing sleeve, and a range from the outer peripheral surface of the developing sleeve to a height Db/2, is 40-70 mT.</p> |
