摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively employ a battery pack when a communication line is disconnected.SOLUTION: A battery management system 100 comprises: cell monitoring devices 21 to 2n provided corresponding to battery modules M1 to Mn formed by connecting battery cells C in series; and a battery management apparatus 1 provided corresponding to a battery pack K formed by connecting battery modules M1 to Mn in series. The cell monitoring devices 21 to 2n detect a voltage of each battery cells C, and the battery management apparatus 1 controls an output of the battery pack K. An integrated battery management apparatus 5 is formed by mounting the cell monitoring device 21, the battery management apparatus 1 and communication lines T', T1a between them on a same substrate 3. When controlling the output of the battery pack K, the battery management apparatus 1 requires voltage data for each battery cells C of the cell monitoring devices 21 to 2n, then receives the voltage data from the cell monitoring device 21, and when not receiving the voltage date from any of the cell monitoring devices 22 to 2n, the battery management apparatus 1 continues to control the output of the battery pack K.</p>
