The present invention relates to a pneumatic object provided with an inflation gas-tight elastomer layer and comprises at least 50 pce of a block copolymer, comprising polystyrene and polyisobutylene, particularly of a SIBS, as the first thermoplastic styrene elastomer; at least 50 pce of an unsaturated thermoplastic styrene, particularly of a SIS, as the second thermoplastic styrene elastomer; and optionally an extension oil, particularly polybutene, preferably at a level of 5 to 100 pce. Said elastomer gas-tight seal layer has excellent sealing properties and a hysteresis that is comparatively lower than butyl rubber layers. The pneumatic object of the invention is in particular an inner tube or a tire for a vehicle. |
