PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of simplifying operation for drawing a drawer unit, and allowing easy replacement of a driving source even when the driving source is failed to make the drawer unit undrawable from an apparatus body.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises a drawer unit 76 that accommodates a conveyance path for conveying recording media such as paper, and is drawable from an apparatus body. The drawer unit 76 includes lock means such as a lock mechanism 160 for locking the drawer unit 76 to the apparatus body, and driving means such as a driving motor 701 including at least a driving source for driving the lock means. The apparatus body includes a front cover 6 that is arranged on a front side in a drawing direction of the drawer unit 76, and is attached to the drawer unit 76 so as to be detached from the drawer unit 76 while the drawer unit is attached to the apparatus body. |
