PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device that can execute, for example, switching between a lock state and an unlock state as a user intends.SOLUTION: A location, where a charge cable 3 is not intended to be locked, is registered in advance, as registered location data, in a verification ECU 19 of a vehicle 1. When a battery 8 of the vehicle 1 is charged, the charge cable 3 is connected to an inlet 6. A location determination unit 35 compares the present location of the vehicle 1 with the registered location to execute location verification. When the location verification is satisfied, an operation control unit 36 determines that it is not necessary to lock the charge cable, and does not activate a lock mechanism 9. On the contrary, when the location verification is not satisfied, the operation control unit 36 determines that it is necessary to lock the charge cable, and switches the lock mechanism 9 into the lock state. |
