The present invention relates to an image display apparatus and a method for operating the same. The method for operating the image display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: acquiring a first image photographed by a camera; a displaying the first image; and overlapping a first schedule image corresponding to a preset first marker with the first image and displaying the overlapped image if the first marker exists in the acquired image. Accordingly, user convenience can be improved. |
