<p>The present invention relates to steel containing phosphorous (P) with high toughness and high strength, and more particularly to novel steel containing P which breaks a common idea of causing brittleness when a great amount of P is contained in steel. According to one aspect of the present invention, steel containing P has a composition containing 0.05-0.3 wt% of C, 0.5-3.0 wt% of Mn, 0.05-0.2 wt% of P, 0.001-0.01 wt% of B, 0.01 wt% or less of N, and the remaining amount of Fe and inevitable impurities, and has a texture having at least 80% of an area fraction of ferrite and pearlite.</p> |
