PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road traffic optimization system capable of relaxing the congestion of a road under the consideration of a point where a user selects the section of the road which the user uses from economical approach.SOLUTION: A first terminal 10 includes display control means 103 for controlling display means 104 to display a route selection screen on which toll in a section included in a plurality of types of routes is indicated, and a user is encouraged to select any of a plurality of types of routes; and selection route transmission means 106 for transmitting selection route information indicating the selected route to a server. A server 20 includes: congestion level calculation means 201 for, on the basis of position information at each predetermined interval received from a plurality of second terminals 11 loaded on a vehicle which passes a section between the current position and a destination, calculating a congestion level indicating the situation of the congestion of the road in the section; toll value calculation means 202 for calculating the toll value of the section in accordance with the congestion level; and toll value transmission means 203 for transmitting the toll value to the first terminal 10. |
