<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load acting on a process cartridge from an urging member when a developer carrier is separated from an image carrier, to suppress deformation over time of the process cartridge.SOLUTION: A process cartridge includes: moving means having a first swinging member that is swingably engaged with a first engaging part provided on an image carrier frame, and a second swinging member that is swingably engaged with a second engaging part provided on a developing frame and is rotatably engaged with the first swinging member; and an urging member that is engaged with the first swinging member and the second swinging member to urge a developer carrier to an image carrier. The moving means can move the developer carrier to a position where the developer carrier is held at a separation position separated from the image carrier, and reduces, at this time, a force acting on the image carrier frame and the developing frame from the urging member or eliminates the force acting from the urging member.</p> |
