<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type rotary electric machine improved so as to reduce cogging torque by simple means for changing material of a stator coil.SOLUTION: In the permanent magnet type rotary electric machine composed of a stator obtained by winding armature coils 20 in a stator core 1 and a rotor obtained by arranging permanent magnets 4 with a plurality of poles in an outer peripheral area of a rotor core 3 oppositely to the inner peripheral side of the stator core 1 through a gap and configured so that the armature coil 20 is wound in each of slots 1a formed along the inner peripheral area of the stator core 1, material of the armature coil 20 is changed from a conventional non-magnetic conductor such as copper and aluminum into a soft magnetic coil conductor to increase permeance of the coil parts wound in the slots, reduce variation of magnetic energy due to rotation of the rotor and reduce cogging torque.</p> |
