摘要 The present invention relates to a method for producing nickel sulfate that is used for a secondary battery cathode material, industrial nickel coating, and electroless nickel coating. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for producing high purity nickel sulfate, wherein a nickel component of 99% or more is extracted from a hydroxide mixed with nickel and cobalt under a continuous process including a recycling procedure so that the use of an organic solvent and the discharge of waste water are minimized and additionally a cobalt component can be collected. By means of the present invention, a raw material having a low nickel content, such as a hydroxide mixed with nickel and cobalt, is treated through a mixing and washing process so that soluble impurities are removed. When the raw material is leached in a sulfuric acid solution, a leaching aid is used so that the leaching efficiency of soluble metal sulfate is improved. A process is performed in which the size of obtained nickel particles is controlled to become fine so that the efficiency and economic feasibility in producing high purity nickel sulfate are improved.
