PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous facsimile transmission as much as possible by performing facsimile transmission by setting high probability of facsimile transmission to a transmission opposite party as assumed as a condition when an operator operates a communication apparatus at a visiting destination and performs facsimile transmission.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus 3 includes: a result reception section for receiving a facsimile transmission result of transmission object data and transmission opposite party information from an image forming apparatus 1 via a web server 5; a history storage section for storing the transmission result as a transmission history; an extraction section for extracting a facsimile number corresponding to the transmission history showing success of facsimile transmission; a success opposite party storage section for storing the extracted facsimile number; and a control section for allowing a transmission section to transmit the transmission object data and the facsimile number to the web server 5 when the facsimile number received by a transmission opposite party reception section is matched with the facsimile number stored in the success opposite party storage section.
