PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently suppress oscillation in long members, such as a derricking boom, a trolley garter, leg parts of a crane main body, upper part connecting material and a lower part bridge girder.SOLUTION: A cargo handling machine 20 comprises long members (derricking boom 30, trolley garter 31, leg parts 26 of crane main body 22, upper part connecting material 23C, lower part bridge girder 28) requiring suppression in oscillation. At least one tension member 40 is arranged from one end to the other end of the long member and an actuator (hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic damper) for pushing and sticking the tension member 40 from the lateral direction is arranged at a middle section of the tension member so as to actively, semi-actively or passively control force exerted to the actuator and/or damping force, and thereby suppressing oscillation in the long member. |
