PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of an olivine-type lithium transition metal complex oxide which is produced at low cost, has excellent discharge capacity and charge and discharge efficiency, and can be used as a cathode active material.SOLUTION: A production method of an olivine-type lithium transition metal complex oxide added with carbon comprises: a mixing step of mixing a lithium source, a phosphoric acid source, an iron source and a carbon source with a dispersion medium and performing pulverization; a drying step of spray drying a raw material mixture obtained by the mixing step; and a burning step of burning a precursor obtained by the drying step. At least part of the carbon source is a high-temperature decomposable carbon source having a decomposition temperature from 200°C to a burning temperature. |
