PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a report of a fraudulent score even in the case of a competition in a virtual environment.SOLUTION: When a player carrying a terminal device inputs a score and transmits a registration request of the score from the terminal device, an information processing server receiving the registration request determines whether a golf course in which the player played is a golf course intended for entry to a virtual competition, as well as whether a date of play falls within a period in which the virtual competition is held. As a result, in the case that the golf course is the golf course intended for entry to the virtual competition and that the date of play falls within the period in which the virtual competition is held, it is determined whether the player made a reservation for the golf course on the date when the player played as the date of play. When the existence of the reservation is confirmed, the score is registered as a score in the virtual competition. However, when the existence of the reservation is not confirmed, the score is not registered. |
