Disclosed is an apparatus for preventing shape defect of a strip in a skin pass mill, capable of stably ensuring quality and effectively preventing troubles of facilities by maintaining a work pass line of the strip while uniformly distributing tension to the whole width of a strip under a strip pass milling operation. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for preventing the shape defect of the strip in the skin pass mill includes an anti-clipping roll set part provided at a front portion of the skin pass mill to uniformly provide the tension to the whole width of the strip entering for the rolling of the strip; and a braking roll set part provided at a rear portion of the skin pass mill to uniformly provide tension to the whole width of the strip after the rolling of the strip. |
