PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recognition device for containers for enabling recognition of a type, a date, or the like while discarding used containers of injection drugs or the like.SOLUTION: A recognition device for containers includes: a container throw-in chute 5 configured to slant downward from one end to the other end; a first container rotating roller 23 which is positioned below the container throw-in chute 5 and has an almost horizontal rotating shaft 13A; a second container rotating roller 24 which is rotatable in the same direction as the first container rotating roller 23, has an outer peripheral surface that is on almost the same horizontal surface as the first container rotating roller 23 and a rotating shaft 13B that is almost parallel with the first container rotating roller 23, and is movable in a direction to be separated from the first container rotating roller 23; and an imaging device 8 for recognizing prescribed information attached to a container to be thrown in the container throw-in chute 5. |
