PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyphenylene sulfide fiber whose adhesive properties with rubber is satisfactory and whose strength or the like are hard to be deteriorated, which could not have been achieved by the conventional technology from the problems, e.g., that the adhesive properties have been insufficient and its strength or the like have been made easy to be deteriorated.SOLUTION: The polyphenylene sulfide fiber is characterized in that the ratio of oxygen measured by XPS is 5 to 20% based on mol, and also, a C=O group is present, and it is preferable that the total of the ratio between a C=O peak and an O-C=O peak obtained by the peak resolution of C(1s) measured by XPS is 3 to 20%. |
