PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniform the moisture distribution within a power generation surface with a simple process, thereby maintaining favorable power generation performance.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 10 includes a fuel gas passage 40 and an oxidant gas passage 42 which are set to form counterflows having flow directions that are opposite to each other, respectively. In an operation method of the fuel cell system 10, the supply amount of fuel gas supplied to the fuel gas passage 40 is repeatedly increased and decreased, while the supply amount of oxidant gas supplied to the oxidant gas passage 42 is repeatedly increased and decreased. At such time, the increase of the supply amount of fuel gas and the increase of the supply amount of oxidant gas are alternately performed. |
