PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material sticking apparatus and a sheet material sticking method in which productivity can be improved by shortening a time needed for molding a raw tire.SOLUTION: A sheet material sticking apparatus, in which a sheet material is stuck so that the center position of the sheet material and the center position of a molding drum coincide with each other, includes: transportation conveyor moving means for moving a transportation conveyor in the width direction by a moving amount moved in the width direction when a sheet material of the same kind was stuck to the molding drum in the past by the time when the sheet material reaches the tip end on the downstream side of the transportation conveyor; sheet material detecting means for detecting, by a sensor arranged above the transportation conveyor, the position in the width direction of the sheet material which has reached the tip end on the downstream side of the transportation conveyor; and transportation conveyor adjusting means for moving the transportation conveyor in the width direction to coincide the center position of the sheet material with the center position of the molding drum. |
