<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester toner resin comprising a polyhydroxylated cardanol derivative, which may be used in manufacturing an emulsion aggregation (EA) toner for imaging devices.SOLUTION: A polyester toner resin comprises a cardanol derivative, and preferably an additional polyol. The polyester toner resin preferably either has Ts from about 0°C to about 150°C, has Tg(onset) from about 10°C to about 120°C, Mn from about 1,000 to about 50,000, Mw from about 2,000 to about 100,000, an acid value from about 2 to about 30, or a combination thereof.</p> |
