PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for tire vulcanization giving a tire with flash rubber formed in a lug groove reduced and a tire production method.SOLUTION: A mold for tire vulcanization includes a pair of side molds 3 profiling mainly a side wall part of a tire and a sector mold 5 arranged between the pair of side molds 3 and profiling mainly a tread part of the tire. The sector mold 5 becomes ring-shaped as a whole on mold closing, consists of a plurality of arc-shaped segments 5a divided in the circumferential direction and a protrusion 7 for formation of a lug groove extending from the sector mold 5 to the side mold 3 on mold closing and divided at a parting position. Between the divided end surfaces 9 of the protrusion 7 for formation of a lug groove, one divided end surface 9 is formed with a concave part 13, and the other divided end surface 9 is formed with a convex part 11. The concave part 13 and the convex part 11 are engaged mutually on mold closing. |
